Since 1991, my specialty is Motorized Lift Furniture. Today's home theater systems can be concealed in TV lift furniture and be placed in any room; at the foot of the bed, against the wall, or as a room divider. Utilizing motorized lift systems that lift up/down, slide, swivel and pivot and installing them in floors, walls, built-ins and furniture. TV LIFT FURNITURE DESIGN PROCESS:
Developing a good verbal relationship with your professional furniture craftsman omits timely and costly errors. Here is a brief to guide you through the design, consultation and fabrication process of a custom TV lift furniture project. It is also customary to be charged a fee for design and consultation. This fee could be applied to the fabrication of the project.

The skill of communication is the Key! A knowledgeable furniture craftsman will ask poignant questions to discover your personal taste in style, shape, color, likes and dislikes, etc. A photo of the room is helpful so they may see the room as you do. Actual measurements of W" H" D" of the TV without stand and equipment that may be needed in the same piece; these dimensions will determine the size and type of LIFT used and the overall size of the TV Lift Cabinet. There are numerous details that they will sort through to find what is important to you for your custom made TV Lift Furniture project.

Going through this demanding exercise of details with your craftsman may seem tedious, however, putting cost and design in line and up front will leave less to chance. Assumptions can lead to expensive mistakes.

The approval of defined furniture details are transformed to shop drawings. If changes and/or modifications, thereafter, are to be made, they must be in writing to avoid any miscommunication or misinterpretation. Also, progression photos should be offered as the TV Lift Furniture project proceeds.
